After months of thoughtful engagement, collaboration, and creative exploration, we are proud to unveil ACCUO’s new visual identity: a refreshed look that reflects who we are today and where we’re headed as a national voice for ombudspersons in higher education across Canada.
Our 2025 Brand Kit captures the essence of ACCUO: independent, impartial, and accessible, with a design that is modern, professional, and dynamic.
What’s New
A Fresh Logo: Our new logo features a geometric tree, symbolizing growth, connection, and integrity, the core principles of ombudsing. The minimalist design ensures clarity across digital and print platforms, enhancing our visibility and recognition.
A Vibrant Colour Palette: Our palette balances classic black and white with cool and warm supporting tones, adding energy and inclusivity to our communications. Gradients bring a sense of movement, a reflection of our evolving community and the conversations we foster.
Distinct Typography: Our chosen fonts: (1) Telegraf and (2) Garet, combine modernity with professionalism. They provide a consistent, accessible reading experience that supports clear and engaging communication.
A Unified Look and Feel: From icons and illustrations to photos and videos, every element of the new brand system has been designed to strengthen our identity, inspire collaboration, and reinforce our commitment to fairness and equity in higher education.
